Swallows Cottage

Swallows is a cosy and comfortable 2 bedroom luxury holiday cottage in Dorset; ideally suited for smaller families or couples.  It has it’s own private lawned garden with terrace area.

Although very close to Dove House, it is completely private and separate from it.  Perfect in the winter months with it’s cosy beamed living/dining room and wood burning stove.

On warm quiet evenings, deer can often be seen in the woods on the hill above Swallows, along with owls, buzzards and the occasional fox.

FAQs
We stayed at Swallows cottage over New Year and it was a wonderful family break. Such a cosy little cottage. Pippa was most welcoming and the accommodation had everything we needed.

We have just returned from a week in Dove House and Swallows, which is the perfect venue for a large family celebration. There were 17 of us in total, across three generations of our family and ranging from 21 - 85 years. The facilities of the property are excellent and the addition of Swallows allowed the older members of the family respite from the larger group when required.

We've just returned from a stay at the Swallows and absolutely loved it! It's location is perfect for visiting the beautiful Jurassic Coast and the setting of the Swallows is perfect. It's a real home from home with everything you could need and more. A lovely garden (which could be fully enclosed by shutting the gate) overlooking woodland. It's a real wildlife haven and we enjoyed seeing buzzards, foxes, a deer, woodpeckers and lots more! The use of the tennis court is an added bonus.
