Swallows Information

Swallows is a warm, cosy and comfortable 2 bedroom holiday cottage; ideally suited for smaller families or couples. As the accommodation is all on one level, it is also popular with visitors with limited mobility.

Designed for 4 people to share in comfort, Swallows has a large enclosed garden and although very close to Dove House, it is completely private and separate from it. The garden is secure for any small dog that guests may bring with wonderful walking straight from the door.

On warm quiet evenings deer can often be seen in the woods on the hill above Swallows, along with owls, buzzards and the occasional fox. It is fabulously warm and cosy to return to after a day out in the cooler months.

We have recently created a small area around the terrace with raised beds and trellised fencing bringing the garden closer to the cottage and making a really pretty area for guests to sit and enjoy the rural surroundings. (Photos to come in the early summer!

Please note that the swimming pool is not available to guests at Swallows unless they are part of the group at Dove House.

Swallows has all accommodation on ground floor, including:

• Spacious beamed living/dining room with a wood burning stove, Freeview TV/DVD and radio/cd player and French doors to garden.
• Well equipped kitchen area: electric oven and hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave.
